Starring: Musician & Shaman - Herbert Quinteros, who plays the flute and also created the computer music within this short film. Herbert does special healing ceremonies in his center in the Peruvian Amazon, where he treats people from many Nations with his amazing voice and the unique jungle medicine Ayahuasca. This video is a simulation of the real deal and it took one week from conceptualization until final effects-path was complete. It was filmed in Mexico on a sweet afternoon. This Video was created through the request of Ceiba Records, San Francisco. Tina had the idea of doing a compillation DVD of different visual artists in which she asked Omananda to make a video with music by: David Battenfield. Omananda worked with Dr. Spook to do a visual FX-path on this music video that ended up in Ceiba's Visitation first. It was replublished on "Templayed" - Healing through temple visuals.
Before I went to Kauai the very first time in 1996, I visited my friend Julia's home in Berkeley. She showed me a dolphin video that some of her friends send to her house. Julia said this video had some Hawaii-connection. The incredible dolphin-shots filmed by Julia's friends were not filmed in Hawaii. However, in the end of the video there was a music-video of this funky person jumping with his guitar wildly around, playing dolphin-music on a beach in Hawaii. This musician, Scott Huckabay, had recovering from a heavy accident despite negative prognosis by Western doctors who told him that he will never walk again. But swimming with dolphins every day for one year in Secrets-beach in Kauai created a miraculousl recovery for Scott who made a deep connection with these magical creatures that are the inspiration for his wonderful music that he performs all over the world ever since. So, after this video-introduction to Hawaii, I felt an instant connection with this musician in the video and wished to meet him very much. When I went to Kauaii, I spent 3 days in a full moon party on the dry side of the island. Guess who was scheduled to play at that event? It was indeed Scott Huckabay. Scott and me ended up playing together in a Hippy-house where the after party of this 3 day full moon event continued. My wish came true. Eventually, I connected the dots and asked Scott to use one of his tracks to make a dolphin video out of that footage, which I did. Enjoy the video.
